Syllabus
Due Date:
Each assignment will be due at the end of the month but fill free to turn things in early.
Class Rules:
Just keep in mind that there are some rules that have to be followed in this class:
- Follow the HOL rules.
- Respect the due dates of the assignments and extra credits (we do understand RL comes first so please let me know if you need an extension).
- Each assignment or extra credit you send to us should have NA, the number of the lesson and your HOL ID, in the topic/subject line. For example mines would be:NA, HW1, ar910.

Points:
Each homework and extra credit assignment will be worth 30 points. This means that for four assignments and extra credits you can earn a total of 240 points.
The termproject is worth 30 points.
The final exam is also worth 30 points.
Total of 300 points for the term.
Quills:
In order to earn a quill in this class we expect you to at least have earned 150 marks.
- 3 homeworks must be completed. This gives you 90 points (not including those earned by the extra credits).
- The term project. This gives you 30 points.
- The final exam. This also give you 30 points.
If you complete these and only these it will give you 150 points, which is a pass.
Awards :
What is a Native american class without an award right? For this class there are only 4 awards available.
- The Thunderbird: Given to the student who scores 300 points.
- The Tomtom: Given to the student with the highest score of each house.
- Golden feathers: Given to the student who has impressed us with their homework or extra credit. This is awarded monthly.
-Tricksters: For every student who hands in all their homework, regardless of the points earned. (Note: a score below 15 for each hw is not acceptable in order to earn this award, you'll have to show you did your best, we think the hw are not so hard so yes min 15 for each submssion)
